COURSE STRUCTURE

STAGE 1


Teaches you the basic fundamental yoga principles, such as how to do the most basic yoga poses that are a part of almost all classes, including downward dog, table top, cobra and child's pose. We also introduce connecting the movement to the breath and Sun Salutation A

STAGE 2

In this class we start adding, core, stability and balance.

Introducing a few more strengthening poses that stretch and strengthen. We teach some more poses such as chair and low lunge/ anjanayasana and also put the poses together. Balancing postures such as tree are introduced into your practice


STAGE 3

Warrior flows- We add warrior poses into the practice, building on what we have already covered. We also add pranayama breath into the practice ujayyi. Learn to maintain core stability whilst strengthening and stretching the muscles through yoga

STAGE 4


Open your heart. This class brings together everything we have covered and also adds heart opening postures, teaching you how to practice backbends safely activating the core and protecting vital areas such as the lower spine. This will invigorate and energise

STAGE 5

Full body and mind flow. We put it all together and take it up a step. A full body vinyasa flow incorporating everything we have covered throughout the series.

How to Approach this plan.


To complete this course each class should be repeated once before progressing onto the next stage. It is a 14 day course and the reason we practice each class twice is so that the movement patterns start to become more familiar through repetition of movement. You will be given 4 rest days during this course.

confident within not only their bodies but their minds and hearts also. She
is a firm believer that our emotional and spiritual body can have a
direct impact on our physical bodies. she encourages students to become
conscious of the relationship between their bodies and minds, whilst
gently incorporating a little spirituality into their daily lives using her
playful and mischievous personality and encouraging a little playfulness.
